SAFE AND
LOOKED AFTER
Every website we build runs on Cloudflare, the security company that protects about a quarter of all the websites in the world. There's no server for you to worry about, no plugins to update, and backups happen by themselves.
What We Look After
The technical side of your website, handled for you, in plain English.
Cloudflare's Network
Your website is served from Cloudflare's data centres around the world, so it loads quickly on any phone, wherever your customers are.
The Padlock, Sorted
Every page is served securely over HTTPS. The security certificate is set up and renewed automatically, so there's no 'Not secure' warning waiting to happen.
Protected From Attacks
Cloudflare's network soaks up floods of fake traffic meant to knock websites offline, before it ever reaches yours.
No Plugins to Patch
Lots of small business websites rely on a stack of add-on plugins, and each one needs updating. Ours doesn't use any: we build and look after the whole thing.
Automatic Backups
Your words and photos are backed up all the time. We can rewind the whole website to any minute in the last 30 days, and you can put back any earlier version yourself.
Safe Logins
Everyone has their own login. Passwords are stored scrambled so nobody can read them, not even us, repeated wrong guesses are blocked, and you can add a code by email for new devices.
Private Until Ready
While we build your new website, it stays behind a password and hidden from Google until you're happy to go live.
Always Up to Date
We keep improving the platform, and every website on it gets the improvements. There's nothing for you to install or update.
Your Data, Your Business
We're registered with the ICO, the UK's data protection regulator (registration ZC198816). Download everything, every word and every photo, whenever you like, and visitor counts are kept without tracking cookies.
A Real Person
If anything ever looks wrong, message us. You won't get a ticket number or a call centre, just a real person who knows your website.
Questions About Security?
Ask Phil anything about how your website is looked after. We're happy to explain it all in plain English.
